The images below illustrate the shrinkage of my Acoustic Neuroma since my first Gamma Knife treatment in November of 2001.  The area under the green bracket is the neuroma itself.  The area under the red bracket is the distance to my brainstem, initally only 1/2 inch.  The Tinnitus (ringing in my left ear) has gotten less over the years and is very tolerable.  My balance is still very good and I still have discernible hearing in my left ear (see hearing test page).  I have had no pain, headaches, or facial problems and remain very pleased with the results!
